Agree with you. I lived for a while in auto country and they created a problem that only can hurt the low man .It does not matter no one is giving us a loan to buy a car anyway. They want more money than the companies are worth.

I'm sure you probably thought this through very carefully before you offered your let them, the government and the rest of us go down the tubes so we can punnish our Auto Industry. Sure they have made their mistakes and need to change their plans but who kept buying those big gas guzzling cars and demanding them anyway? It was the American Public. What would happen if we only had Foreign car Makers in this Country. Could you see the President and Congress asking them to retool and make War Machines if we had another World War or we were attacked. I;m sure that those Japaneese and European car Makers would just be so glad to make weapons for us. Don't you thing the Japaneese Government has been subsidizing their Auto Industry forever so they could get their foot hold in this country like they do in every Industry, and than try to sell them something of ours in their country. Talk about fair!! So give them and the people here a break, there is much more than meets the eye that is tied into the Auto Industry. Let them retool and give them an oppurtunity to do great things which they are cetainly capable of if we give them a chance.
